Default 1985 Ramcharger Ebay Relisted

1985 Dodge RamCharger SE 150 Royal
Repaired and Running
I previously attempted to sell this truck on Ebay. At that time I believed I had a wiring issue. Turned out it was just a disconnected wire clip from the steering column. (Don't I feel stupid) This truck now runs fine. Some will ask why the Buy It Now price went up. This is because I had 4 people in 2 days ready to But It Now at $1,500 if they could arrange for repairs after purchase and before pick up. I feel now that it can be proved that the truck works, it is worth more to somebody than if they didn't know if something more was wrong with it. Now they can also pick it up and drive home without having to arrange a tow and repair, and possibly more inconvenience associated with out-of-state repair work. It'd have been a shame to sell it for that low a price and it be a simple repair.

History
I have owned this truck for over 3 years and it has served me well with many 400 to 700 plus mile trips from my home to North Alabama and South Florida. I have run premium gas since getting the new carb put on. I have found that it combusts better with little to no pinging (as it has no ecm). All new parts have less than 1 year use on them. The gas mileage was 13 city 15 hwy last I checked. I just don't really have the time to spend on restoring this truck. All gauges work. Heat works as well. Body and bumpers are in great condition with no rust and nothing more than nicks or scrapes. No dents or holes. This Ram has not sat around unused. I bought a new Caliber for my daily commuter, but drive this truck on the weekends. This truck is pretty much just a get in and go truck. It is not a “Junk Truck” or a “Great Hunting/Work Truck”, or being sold for parts. No computers or sensors or any of that. All it needs is a little weekend mechanic work to be in great shape, meaning window/door seals, paint, driver door inside has 2 paint flakes, a little tightening up here and there. Nothing major, engine works fine with no smoke after startup and transmission is fine. The rear end is a little rough into reverse, characteristic of all 80's model Rams. Rear end drives fine. Cruise and power windows work...driver side needs motor. Might want to replace speakers. If you buy it, it will make it back home. No trailer needed to haul it off. It is “AS IS, NO WARRANTY.”
