I got the P0441 error code on my way to work last night, so I checked it out in my Hanes manual and found out it has to do with the EVAP, so I didn't pay much attention to it as I was pretty close to work.

I searched on the forum, but nobody really gives a straight answer about this.. Where is the sensor that is giving the P0441 code? and what is causing it?

EVAP pretty sure i would try tightening the GAS cap and then reseting the PCM.. I did this eairlier to clear my evap code!

EDIT: Yes this is the code my car was throwing (just found it on a peice of paper in my room).. So just remove and tighten your gas cap (i went all the way around after it started clicking) then then unplug your battery and drain the power (hold on the brakes for a min) and then fire it up.. should be good to go!

I had to reset the PCM twice, but it seems to be all good now
Thanks eaks

Hey man! Ya sometimes it needs to be reset twice! A lot of the times the engine light will stay on (but only saying that the battery has been disconnected in the last 50 starts)

But hopefully its all good from here on!

That doesn't always fix it. Good luck getting a straight answer past "tighten your gas cap" when the CEL comes back.
