Has anyone ordered a sport with the protection group?
It looks as if you can get skid plates but, the tow hooks are not an option?

When I ordered mine the protection group wasn't an option in the ordering system. Once I get it I'll end up putting the skids and hooks on myself.

 

I agree the option was not there. However, to add hooks we will need to replace the front vent/valance on the bumper.

 

Correct. The Sport bumpers are not made to accommodate tow hooks. Is it replaceable on the Sports or is it all one piece?

 

I was under the impression that only the TRX4 had the option. I know for a fact the sport wasn't allowed this option but what about the laramie?

 

my laramie has the front tow hooks.. i wish it didnt... who wants them for $50? lol

 

You can get tow hooks on SLT, Trx and Laramie. I'm pretty sure the sport won't work with them because of the front bumper valance. I just thought I'd ask to make sure. I wonder how hard it would be to modify the stock valance to use tow hooks? I love the sport interior and would go for the TRX but, I can't get the TRX in monotone.
