Leanin' towards EXTANG Revolution (lifetime warranty/no Velcro)...any recommendations

 

i had an extang on my dakota and i hated it. unlike the one you listed, It did have the velcro on the sides but the latching system at the tail gate is similar to the one you posted.

on the page you listed the bottom left picture. i shows a kind of latch to release the cover.. well after some use and weather that latch becomes a pain in the *** to release.

and it never did pull the cover tight enough, so the sides would just flap in the wind at 70 MPH.. and it was installed by a pro dealer.

thats the main reason i went and got the bakflip this time, no more soft tops for me..

but maybe this new style is updated... i dunno...

I just got a Lorado roll up. It works. Nothing great. Just had to have something until my cap comes in.

 

I have a Truxedo low profile on my 07 Ram now nd I love it.

It does have Velcro down the sides but that has never been a problem.

It latches and rolls up easy.

I'm going with the same thing on my 09.

 

I haven't had a Bakflip before, but it seems like the only way to go.
