Default Dodge Molded Splash Guards

Has anyone put these on your truck yet? Did you drill the sheet metal as it says to in two places per wheel well? My Subaru only uses the three existing holes and they have worked just fine. I am not real crazy about drilling through the brand new rust proofed sheet metal to mount these guards and I am wondering if there is another way or will the three existing holes hold OK?
Anyone shade tree engineer opinions?
Thanks

Solid, great fit, look good, easy install...no need to drill.

What kind are those? They look gray or maybe its the lighting, but I like the more square look to the sides or is the light playing tricks on me.

I have em too. They look gray. Need to put some back to black on them. The screws that came with them have some sealant or something on them to seal up the holes.
