I've got a 318 with 4 barrel intake, and a automatic trans to go with it. out of a 79 D-100. Exact miles are unknown but best estimated 150,000+ on both. $300 for both or $200 for the 318 and $100 for the trans

I drive a 1980 Dodge D-150 and i have a 1979 Dodge D-100 for parts,
I will be picking up a 1977 Dodge D-250 Club cab w/ a 440 motor and 727 auto trans 2rwd that I will be parting out sooner or later minus the engine and trans which I will be keeping.

 

Does the Engine run and is it all complete (Everything thats needed for it to run) and what tranny is with it and how does that run, and how much to ship to northern IL area

 

I will get a quote as soon as I can, I'm away on travel for 2 weeks. The engine runs but should be rebuilt and the trans I THINK is a 727. It shifts just fine. Both are still in the truck. More info to follow

I was also wonderin since i forgot to ask is it a 2WD Trans or 4X4 Trans
and is there an exact milage on the odometer or did it stop working, or was the engine and tranny also a swapped for that truck

Its 2wd and the instrument cluster had a short which I have repaired and as far as I know its the original but havent confirmed. Mileage upon investigating is estimated around 150,000.

I know you said your away on a trip but i was wondering if theres anything else i should know about the engine
like even though you said it should be rebuilt does it smoke any?, burn any oil?,
run like crap? or not run right at times?,ever been run with too low of an amount of oil?
anything else i didnt mention that should be known, since your away just tell me what you remember
and do you have a shipping quote yet or not, just wondering, im not trying to rush you
