Default new noise when accelerating in gear

Just noticed this since I put the stock muffler back on and have been driving with the windows up ( no radio on ). Only happens when accelerating in gear, kind of a whirr noise but definately is a new noise here. You can hear it good when taking off from a stop at about 1/2 or 3/4 throttle ( the intake noise then probably drowns it out after that ) but it happens under all loads, regardless of speed. Will put stock intake back on before next oil change and have dealer look into it but not caused by the intake since it does not do it in park or neutral. No CEL or messages in EVIC. Does pulley tensioner change when in gear versus neutral/park? Does this short runner valve only operate when truck is in gear? Not sure if this is the beginning of that issue but truck still has that extra punch when you hit 4k rpms and still runs great. I need to have someone stand outside it and see if we can narrow down the location but you really cannot hear it when windows are open and driving.
