I'm thinking about swapping rear gears in my 09 ram hemi 2wd to 4.10. I hear the speedometer will still work right but is there anything else that needs to be done? Thanks.

do the dakota and the 1500 rear ends interchange, I have a 09 dakota and a 02 1500 wanna trade gears so the 1500 will pull the trailer better and the dakota will get better mileage on the highway..

I am not sure but I have been reading 456 gears are better for the trucks with the bigger rims. Keep us informed as to what you do and costs...if I get ahead of you you will read about mine. I might have a handle on some 456 gears but being 4x4 and for some reason the front is metric I don't know if I can use these gears.
