82211618AB. It is just a monitor and no DVD player. I would use the My Gig as the DVD player. It says for vehicles with 40/20/40 seat and SUNROOF. It would prevent me from having to buy the All-Gig. I would just have a OEM Video System. If have to I will buy the ALL gig and buy an aftermarket monitor.

I have a non-Sunroof Ram. I am getting the My Gig very soon, it is ordered.

I like the idea of OEM stuff. It seems to me like it mounts on a flat surface but what do I know!

The other option is the full DVD player from Dodge but I would have to use the DVD player in the ceiling. I don't like that set up as I had that in my Commander. Trying to get a DVD in while your driving for the kids was dangerous... I like having the controls up front!

In order to play movies on the MyGig you either need the lockpick or allgig aftermarket add on's. I'd recommend allgig based on a number of problems with audio drop outs with the lockpick. Your post is a little confusing, but the sunroof or bench seat have absolutely nothing to do with mygig or rear dvd options on the truck...

 

That will work. There was someone on another forum who did this. You also need a wiring harness (part # 68019572AA) and need to have the VES activated via the STARSCAN tool at the dealer. PM me if you need more info.

Well I hate to raise an old thread from the dead but. I've been searching the Internet and haven't found much on this. Did this work for you? I'm getting ready to order one for my truck. Just would like to confirm this will work without having a sunroof.
