Default oil

I have Motorcraft 5w 20 oil I didn't use before I traded for my '09 5.7
Will this meet Chrysler's ms 6390 specs? I have 7 qts.
Thanks,
Jack

I use the Motorcraft 5W20 oil in my Hemi all the time. It's a synthetic blend oil that is also priced very reasonable. Ford & Honda recommend 5W20 for pretty much all of their engines now.
