I am going to have my Grille and Tailgate badgess painted but only want to paint the chrome portion. I have discovered the front badge is two pieces with the black background removable during painting.

Is the tailgate badge two pieces as well? How does it attach to the tailgate...tape or fasteners? Do you have to remove the tailgate access panel to get it off?

Any info and tips appreciated.
