Thumbs up K&n cai

K&N just got finished with the final testing on my truck. So within a month it should be in production. Also found out that I was making 320 horse at the wheels with the stock intake now. Then a decent amount more with their CAI. I'll post the dyno numbers when I can in a couple weeks. So this CAI along with the Diablo Sport program should be pretty sick! Can't wait!

I should be getting the intake in 3 weeks so I'll take pictures of the the install. I asked to get the black plastic one for less heat conduction, but they will also have a chrome one too if your more into looks. And as far as price goes it should cost about the same as the 3rd gen Ram intakes. Hope this helps.

This should give us some great choices. There is a guy around here that has the AFE Stage 2 and says it is great. Now K&N is coming out with one and Vararam is in testing for a new one to fit our trucks. I think I will wait to see how it all plays out before I commit.

Yeah, I am waiting on Vararam myself. Looks wise I like the classic CAI, but performance wise you can't beat ram air.

Vararam- You can't beat a .3 guarantee on the 1/4 mile. If not they will pay shipping both ways.
