Default Heated seats not warm enough?

I have a cc Sport with the heated seats. I don't feel that my seats get warm enough on the high setting. Even wearing dockers which are much thinner than jeans, I don't think the seats get that warm on the high setting.

I have had other vehicles where you turn the seats on the lower setting because eventually the seats become to warm at the high setting. I never use the low setting on this truck. This applies to both driver and passenger seat.

How do you think your heated seats feel on the high setting?

My truck was built for me and I took delivery on March 16th 2009.

Mine feel fine to me. My '06 Diesel had cloth seats and I froze in there every morning on the way to work (20 min. drive). It wouldn't start putting out heat until I pulled in the parking lot at work and that's with it plugged in all night.

My steering wheel gets really hot, I have to turn it off after a couple of minutes.

I'm more impressed with the heating in the seats than the ventilation.

Yea... the ventilation is a little gimmicky!

I wanted to hear what others said about their seats to se if it was worth taking to the dealer. I could always test one on their lot to compare.

I had an 04 Chevy and that thing would roast your buns, I had to turn it down to the lowest setting after about 7-10 minutes. In the Dodge I never have to turn the seat heaters down because they don't warm up enough, in fact, I have to look down to make sure that they are on....and don't get me started on the joke of the ventilated (or should I say vacuumed) seats.

Exactly, the heated seats should be corrected. I will go to the dealer and have them write it up.

Wow, you guys think they aren't warm enough? Sometimes the low setting feels too high for me. Don't get me wrong, I love the heated seats, but they usually warm up quick and I have to turn them off to avoid feeling too warm.

Got a funny story for ya..

when i was home on leave my inlaws were there also. my father in law was riding in the front passenger seat and i had the AC on. I could tell he was getting cold so i asked him if he would like me to turn the AC down, he said yes.. well, when i turned the AC down i turned the passenger heated seat on.... i was keeping an eye on him and after a few minutes he was wiggling around, sitting up, leaning back cause his butt was burning up! LMAO!! he had no idea. it was so freakin funny.. he is a quiet guy and wasn't going to complain about being cold or hot so finally i turned it off after i saw him starting to sweat!
i don't know about you guys but my seats heat up just fine!
and i used not like leather cause i would sweat puddles and have swamp *** but with the vented seats that doesn't happen anymore. life is good..

Default Heated seats

I am seeing the same thing in my fully loaded laramie. the seats are set to high and after 10 minutes I still can barely tell they are on. I am taking my truck in to the dealership tomorrow and I will see what they say. It seems to me they need to have the temperatur turned up a couple of degrees.

I can only go about 5 minutes on high, then it gets too hot. Sounds like you have a problem.
