Default 2009 RAMBOX Tonneau Cover

I just got my new 2009 pickup and want to get a soft tonneau cover for the truck. I have the RAMBOX and am interested in the Mopar tonneau cover but there is no information I can find on what it looks like and how exactly it will install and opporate.
If there is anyone who has it or knows information about it please reply.

Thanks

There are a few threads on this and pics of the Mopar unit along with the new Extang one. Unfortunately none of them sit flush which looks horrible in my opinion.

I have seen the posts and have been looking at many sites but now one has posted GOOD pics that really show a close up of the covers side and rear edges including what the rail system looks like once installed. With everyone talking about the covers I was just expecting to see real detail pics of the cover.

So to everyone out there that have these different covers... please post more pics... especially close ups.

I will just leave it with this as my official opinion (and I am not alone): They all look like crap. Maybe that's why they do not take close ups-sort of like an aging Hollywood star, you don't want to see it!

Hey RicoC, I have the rambox also, and I put a truxedo lopro on mine. I posted some pics of it, and I got mine to sit flush, and to fit tight against my tailgate. I will try to get some more pics of it and post them tonight. I did have to do a little modification to it to get it to sit flush, but it wasn't that hard.

Hey that sounds great. I'm thinking I may get the LowPro also. Thanks.

That does look much better than they normally look. What did you do to modify it to get it to sit lower? I think I still want a flush hard cover of some sort, but may have to make it myself.

I took the side rails out, the went to fastenal and bought some washers that had a small enough hole for the rail bolts and wide enough to fit decent behind the rail. I then remounted the rail loosly with the washers behind the rail. Then I put the rails of the tonneau cove ontop of the bed rail and started tightening the bolts enough to hold the tonneau cover rail, but loose enough to make any adjustments. I then did the same to the other side, then put on the cover, made the adjustments I needed and then finished tightening the bolts. Had it on for 6 months now, and it hasen't loosend up at all. It sounds more complicated than it really is. Took me and a buddy about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to do.
