Fontana Speed way 1/4 mile drags

October 31st
Gates open: 6:00AM
Racing starts at 9 AM
RACE: $20, WATCH $10

Vehicle must have current vehicle registration; license and a valid proof of insurance (must have all documentation with you at time of registration) to pass tech inspection

We Are meeting at 5:30 am off of the 10 FWY & Cherry Avenue at either the Arco Gas Station or Valero. Whichever you see a bunch of Titans and Tundras at, go there.

 

Sounds fun. Wish I was visiting my home town of Fontana so I could watch!

 

No one? Come on. Where's M15 at, i wanna run that R/T of his. Where's Doc Flutty at? Theres gonna be some tundras and some titans for you too. I know those arent the only 2 from so cal.

 

Was hoping we'd get more takers, i don't think Doc races his truck though.. We have a couple of RT's in SOcal though, they're just not on very often. Maybe they'll reply

 

I hope so. Im only gonna be able to stay until 1pm. Gotta coach a soccer game at 2:30. I figure with the crowds, I'll probably only get one run in and I'd love to race an R/T. Even if Doc doesnt race, Id love to see that truck of his, the pictures look kick ***.

 

so you want me to race this big *** crew cab, with heavy *** 24s down a 1/4 mile stretch against race cars?

I've got other plans that night. I'd be tempted to try to find a set of lo-pro 17's for stuff like this. My truck is too heavy to be really fast. 5.7, CC, 3.92, 20's. It'd be more fun to run my 2003 Mach 1.

Sorry for the hijack but I am just curious. How much would the 17's help? Especially with a good tire instead of the all season we have now.

You'd be surprised what races out there. I promise you wont be the slowest truck out there. That's what chevys are for lol. Either way, I'm glad your going man. You gonna meet up with us in the morning or show up later?
