I picked up a pair of 17 by 7.5 rims from a garage to mount some winter tires on. I have the stock 20's on my truck now and will me moving to Fort Drum in Jan. I wanted a rim that was smaller that I could put a good winter tire on.
I was looking at the Blizzak DM-V1 in 285/70R17. This puts the tire at .88% smaller than the OEM 20's. It is the closest I could find to the stock rim and tire.
Any insight into this tire or recomendations on another winter tire in this size? Thanks.
