Default Leer 700 Tonneau cover

My Leer 700 finally came in today. Wow, that thing is awesome! Fit, finish, and look are unbelievable. Of course the price was unbelievable as well, so it should look good.

We have the same top on my wife's truck. The paint is flaking off the edges. We are waiting for leer to fix it. Leer wants me to drop it off at the place of purchase so it can be sent out to be repainted, I want a new one.

Dang sking, sorry to hear that. First I've heard of paint problems with them, other than transport damage. Hopefully they'll take care of you and do the right thing. Leer is a big enough company that they should be able to eat the cost of one cover.

Jason: no, I let the local Leer dealer put it on, but I was watching them like a hawk to see how it would come off when I need to haul something big at some point. It cost an additional $35 for the install, but it was worth it. It's always easier for me to take something apart and put it back together than it is to put it on new. Plus them putting it on the local place warranties the install and gives me free adjustments whenever I want. Overall the cost was $1050 for everything (cover, shipping, install). Pricey, but I'm happy with the results and the wife even likes it.

Sorry, but I guess they were a little too large and this post a little too popular. Seems I went over by allotted bandwidth so my ISP has blocked them till 1 Dec.

It took 2 weeks for my cover to come in once I ordered it and put the down payment. After it was in, I waited a couple of days till a Friday when I could take a little longer lunch and have it installed.

So far I love it. It does everything I want an more. The security is a plus, but just keeping the bed dry is the biggest thing for me.
