Default Can't get the change oil light to reset.

I tried the procedure in the manual about 15 times, no luck. Is there a trick to it? Any help would be appreciated........Kevin.

I haven't read the book, but all I do is put the key in the on position and push the gas pedal 3x and put the key in the off position. To be safe, I leave my door open so the truck still isn't powered for the stereo and such, once completely off, I'll put the key back in and start up. good to go.

hope it helps...

Aren't you supposed to put the key in and turn it to the ON position, but not start the truck......then floor the gas 3 times within 5 seconds? That's what I do and it seems to work.

Actually according to the manual, you turn the key to the on position(don't start vehicle) push gas 3 times slowly within 10 seconds then turn the key to the off position.

P.S. As it turns out I was turning the key to the 1st position(accessory) and doing the other steps. I did this at least 15 times, lol lol.Time for a shot........................................Kevin.
