Anyone noticed rust forming on inside lip of tailgate,were the rubber pads on the rear of the bed opening set against the tailgate when you close it?I was washing my truck earlier,and noticed surface rust in this area,only were the rubber blocks contact the tailgate......

 

No rust on mine but the black cables that hold the tailgate up have scratched the heck out of my tailgate when folded up. Not that I really care, no one sees that area anyway
