Default Strangest Electrical Problem ...

OK, this one is strange. I have always had bad reception with am radio in my 2009 Ram Crew Cab. Today, I was trying to get the weather report and I had the usual crackle. I stepped on the brake and it was crystal clear!
I took my foot off and again, static and all sorts of noise. Put my foot on the brake, crystal clear.
How odd. anyone experience this and if so, did you get it fixed????

If your FM reception is OK but AM is bad *may* indicate a faulty antenna connection.

You have a ground fault. When you hit the brakes the stereo system is grounding through you brake light system.

Default radio static

Frogslinger, I think you are on to something. Factory radio. FM is clear as a bell, AM not so much.
