Default found a tire I like, now a rim.

285/75r17 E rated nitto terra grappler, i like a side wall not the bling of a rim, thats why i'm sticking with a 17'' rim. i noticed today even with the junky stock wranglers on my stock 17'' the upper arm is really close to the sidewall. with me going to a bigger tire width wise i need to know what backspace and offset i need for my new rims.. i've read soooo much on rims that all the numbers have got me confused + / - what does it all mean? back spacing WTF, spacers i've heard are bad on axles bearings etc. so much to look at and understand i'm giving it to someone who has already done it.

Default

maybe this will get things started- looking for a rim that sticks out just a little bit from the wheel well my concern is the rubbing on the back of the tire. what specs do i need to keep that from happening.

Default Offset help.

I got a set of Helos with 4-1/2" of backspacing and -12 Offset. They stick out about a 1/2" to an 1" farther than stock. I'll see if I can get a couple pics later.
