Default What size tires

I am taking delivery on a 2010 2500 4X4 today. What is the biggest size tire I can put on the stock 17" rim at the stock height? I was looking at a 315/70/17. Is that too big? Stock size tire is 265/70/17.

Anybody have pics of a stock 2010 2500 4X4 running 35's (35/12.50/17) on the stock 17" rims without (or with) a leveling kit?

I see no one responded to your request. Did you ever get info on sizing from any other source ? I have the same question.

If i'm not mistaking a 305/70 would probably be the largest tire without any lift.I think it is equivalent to 35x12.50.But as you are doing, research this as much as you can,so you are not disappointed in buying the wrong size tire.Good luck!!!

I think a 2500 with 35's on it would look awesome. My local Dealer has a 2010 2500 Crew cab 4x4 with the Cummin's. I have started eyeballing it because I know these guys will give this thing away if it is still there in another month.

My concern would be how far of your odometer will be.

That is why you buy s tuner and adjust the speedo. That is what I did and then I checked it with my GPS, it is right on the money now.
