Default Good 2010 Price?

My dealer in Hawaii is offering me a 2010 1500 Sport with leather seats and the backup camera package for $39,500 out the door. The truck has been sitting on their lot since July, out in the hot sun, collecting dust and water spots along the way. Is this a good deal or not? In pricing a new 2011 with all the stuff I really want on the truck (Ram box, leather, backup cam, hood, remote starter, side steps), the MSRP is topping out at $47K. I don't know what kind of incentives are available now or in 3 months when the truck comes in, if I have it built to order. I hate to spend all that money for a truck that doesn't really have what I want but I hate to pass up a good deal.

Is that a good price for a 2010 or what?

Thanks in advance.....

With that price differential you could buy a lot of the adds you want for the 2010.

I dont really see where thats that great of a deal for a 2010 thats been sitting a long time, even a fully loaded one.
Mine was $42,000 for a (fully loaded) 2010 sport a yr ago (2010 4x4 Hemi QuadCab, leather`d up and loaded)
Ask about factory incentives, and how much more they will knock off that $39,500 price tag.
Always remember, "THEY" need to sell a truck, it dosent meen "YOU" have to buy a truck.
The only thing thats keeping the price high on that truck, is the water thats between you and other dealers.
Bring them sorry azz car "stealers" to their knee`s and force them to sell it cheaper to you.
I think they could do ALOT better than $39,500 for you.

GOOD LUCK..!

I've been to Hawaii a few times and couldn't help but notice that a lot of stuff is more expensive than on the mainland. Is this the case with trucks as well?

Unless there's ahuge markup for HI sales, it's not a good price at all. I got a 2011 CC Laramie 4x4 for $41,500.

It seems like people are missing the point that he is in Hawaii where the cost of living is much higher than it is here.

Considering that I paid $26,000 TTL (out the door) for my 2010.... Leather seats and all that jazz too..

Laramie says no.
