Default 09 Ram- Has anyone had this problem?

Guys,
My truck has 27,000 on the clock. Since about 10k my steering wheel has been "clicking" - it only does this when the truck is in gear and driving (making left/right turns). The clicking is coming from the column and has been an annoyance for a while. Took it to a dealer with the concern that it was possibly a clock-spring defect. They said they could not figure it out and basically gave it back with a shrug.

Today I took a 4 hour trip on the highway using cruise control the entire way going 70mph. I hit a slight bump in the road and the cruise control kicked off. I put the cruise back on and it worked fine. A few miles down the road it kicked cruise off and this time the ESP BAS light, 4wd service, abs, and ESP off lights came on- cruise could not be turned on the rest of the trip.

Truck drove fine the rest of the way- I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this issue.

I'm taking it to a different dealer this week hoping to get more info on the steering wheel click and get the issue with the computer resolved.

Thanks, any insight is appreciated!

something like that should have never been handled with a shrug, thats messed up. it sounds like you have a bad connection somewhere in the steering wheel something that could be easily fixed. i would seriously consider finding a new dealer what a joke about the first dealer i'd be pissed.
