Default So I got a great deal on some new-to-me Monsters...

And I can't freakin remove the brake rust and grease from them to save my life! I've been hand washing with regular dishwashing soap to remove the bulk of it, then used some black magic wheel cleaner and a good scrubbing at the car wash and the crud is still showing. Any tips or advice on how to clean them would be appreciated! I did armorall them and they look much better but the dust is still there in a lot of places.

A tooth brush and some simple green will work wonders.

try shaving cream, let it set, it takes carbon off gun parts (but you have to wash and dry and oil them afterward) (never done it but was told by several people in diff. units that it does work)

^ what he said. Make sure you dilute any degreaser as it can damage paint.

I've had some luck with this stuff as well...
