Well I was thinking of buying a grille/brush guard for the truck and was doing a little searching on E-Bay and found this one. Did alot of searching around and it gets good reviews. I have no idea why but the one on ebay is at least half the price that I could find it anywhere else. Thought I'd share that info for those of you who may want one but like me don't want to spend $400 +++ to get one. Can't wait for it to get here so I can install it. I'll post some pictures once it gets here.

Well the brush guard arrived. Looked well built, although made in China. Looked at the directions which are exactly what I read they were, not too good. Noticed on the front page that it was made for a 2006-2008 2500/3500 and 2006-2008 1500 Ram. Uh-OH!!! Double checked on JC Whitney and another auto parts site that sells them and they all stated it would fit an 09 Ram 1500...... but NOT a 2010 or 2011. NOT GOOD. They have made a big error on model years it will fit. This kit does NOT fit a 2009 and up Ram 1500 so do not buy it for your forth generation truck!!!!!!! I did double check the mounting brackets and they are not correct for our trucks. Crap, now I have to ship it back. Sorry for the initial false info.

 

Dude, that sucks. Whenever I'm looking for aftermarket parts on-line, I always type in that I have a 2010 Ram 1500 (even though I actually have a 2009), because so many of these smaller on-line companies either "forget" that the '09 1500 is the new generation, or they're just idiots.
