Default Green vent caps

Hey!

I have green caps on the vents of my tires.
Is this normal, or have the previous owner filled the tires with nitro?

If there is nitro can I just add air in to them?

My tire pressure sensor(s) is displaying a low tire..

Thanks..

If it's green its nitrogen, when i bought my truck they came with nitrogen in them, they might all be nitrogen stock now.

I've put air in them before because i had no choice i was in the middle of nowhere and you don't get a crazy explosive reaction if your wondering hehe. You can go to your dealer or any dodge dealer really or a tire shop and they will top it up with nitrogen for free. If they charge you to top up they are really greedy.

Of course you can put air in the nitro tires... air is 80% nitrogen anyways

Costco will release the air in your tires and put in nitro if you are a member. You don't even have to buy the tires from them. I have them check the pressure and add if required when I visit the store. I am still on the stock tires.

The Dodge dealer here in town has a "nitro" program and it's not free as far as I know.

Me too. To do this for customers that are buying tires elsewhere sure shows what kind of company Costco is.
I will buy my tires from them in the future if they have what I want at a fair price. Costco is not cheap. But they always have top of the line products.
