I have the 4th Gen 4.7L and I'm looking for some advice on mods. I'd like to install a CAI but really can only find K&N models that are readily available. I'm also looking into exhaust mods eventually but I'm unsure which systems work best with this engine. What I really am unsure of is what mods give the best performance with the best MPG savings?

 

Not a lot of options for the 4.7. I installed an Airaid CAI and Flowmaster 40. Very small increase in MPG and power, but it sounds very mean.

 

to be honest with you, theres no mpg gains with intake and exhaust. if anything, i swear your loosing mpgs. I did 2 different intakes on my 3rd gen, and several exhaust. its all just noise
