When I got my 2009 SLT, I got towing mirrors as part of the deal. My wife had a terrible time with them (blind spot pass side) and they were a problem pulling into the garage. I removed them and put the stock ones back on and now I use the clip on ones. I was surprised how well the clip on ones work, no vibration as was my experience in the past on my GMC.

I leave it with my trailer that is at storage, and off the top of my head I can't remember the brand. They are the ratcheting type and hold really well. I only use one on the drivers side because when I went to buy two, only was in stock. I've found that having it on the drivers side is enough for me. I think it was around $30.

I think it's this one, the 3891
