both like new, tuner is unlocked, just under a year old. selling to buy tuner for mustang... did notice a decent increase with this combo. should work for 09-11 hemi trucks

$200 for intake MODEL 63-1561 (filter cleaned/oiled last week)
and $275 for tuner if sold separately

 

Questions on the tuner.

1 - Does it void the manufacturers warranty?

2 - How does a tuner become "unlocked"?

I have never used a tuner but I am interested. I looked at a new one for just about 40 bucks more but it is not "unlocked" obviously. I only have the 4.7L but I believe its the same tuner for both engines.

A locked tuner is one which is storing the Original flash from the vehicle which was tuned. This prevents the tuners from being used on multiple vehicles. If it is unlocked the original flash has been reloaded to the vehicle, and can now be used on a second vehicle. All new tuners are unlocked.

 

thanks for answering him.... tuner's don't neccessarily void your warranty, its a gray area, on gas engines it seems tuners arent a huge deal to dealers. I spoke with my dealer before buying and they said there wouldn't be any warranty issues as long as the factory tune was loaded on the truck before bringing it in for an issue....

Also, ALL TUNERS need to show that they are unlocked and ready to roll.
To do this, you can hook it up to your computer and take a screen shot of the status saying it's restored.
Too many problems with locked tuners being sold. Please re-assure your potential buyers with pics of it unlocked.
