that's a sharp looking 4x2 for sure, but i think you got your sights set a bit high. i worked at a dealership for seven years and KBB average trade is about $11,500 on it, a dealer might give you $13,000 for the "eye candy" and put it on the lot at a starting price of $16,995. mods are great and yours look really good, but they dont fetch much in the resale market.
i'm not trying to burst your bubble, but suggesting you might want to ask a little less for it.

Yeah, I have to agree with everyone else there, Mel. I got a cousin in NY who paid less for his '08 QCSB 4x4 Ram Hemi new off the lot as a leftover when the '09s started coming in.
Gonna be hard to see much more than $15-16k out if it IMO... Full Retail is just in the high $14k range and people don't expect to pay retail on a private sale. The mods might get you $1500-2000 over the going rate.
Believe me, been there done that, I've got a KBB avg. trade around $14k on my '04, have $13k in mods in it and when I was toying around with the idea of buying a CTD, the most any one of three dealers offered me was $13,800. I doubt I could get much more than $16k for mine private...

Ok, Im going to politely step in and be honest. From a man who has totally modded, tricked and customized his own truck and KNOWS just how much money is involved in doing so, this is a good price for everything that has been done to it. Granted I would feel better about it if was a 5.7 with 456s gears but there is a lot of time and money invested in this truck.
A truck like this NEVER gets traded in. Anyone who invests like this in only looking for a private sale. KBB and Edmunds have nothing to do with this truck because they only value stock rides. This is fully customized.
Look at my truck and everything I have done to it (and still doing more) and there is no way i would sell it for less than 20k. I just would not do it. I dont care if gas gets to $10 a gallon I would not sell it for less than 20k.
So for everyone talking about trade in prices and dealers, forget it. This truck (or any like it) will never get traded in a dealer.
When I did my 442 I invested heavily and it was worth every penny i later sold it for. Taking it do a dealer to trade it in would have been financial suicide

Thanks Weedahoe. While I know I may be asking an unrealistic price, Im hoping that someone out there is looking to buy something similar and wants a lot of these mods that I already have done to it. If your going to buy a stock truck from the dealer and look into getting aftermarket stuff put on it its just cheaper to find a truck for sale that has everything on it and more. Hopefully someone out there is looking for this exact one of a kind truck.... if not thats ok with me I love this truck.
I tried lowering the price to 22,000 maybe this will bring more people into looking at it.
