normal problems?
well we got a 2011 ram 1500 with 18k miles on it. but i have some complaints, and i want to know if this has happened to other people before i take it to the dealer.
first, the door is creaking! every time you open or close it, it has a nasty creek to it.
second, when its cold and i leave early, ill cruise around in first to warm it up faster. and i noticed ALOT of slack in the driveline. i cant tell if its in the ring and pinion or the spider gears. either way, it dose not feel healthy.
so anyone else have these problems?

I`m betting the dealership your going to isn`t doing the proper lube job during your services. (you may want to look into that)
Easy no brainer fix though...some spray grease on the hindges and door hindge cams will cure that problem 100%
Probably not a bad idea to spray them once a month with lube.
I changed the diff lubes at 15,000 on my truck, quiet as dust landing on my paint now.
You may want to see if your 2011 truck falls under the rear differential recall (???)
Keep in mind that these dodge truck diff`s aren`t the quietest of rearends.
Stiffer diff gearing will always be a touch noisier regardless.

Greasing the doors used to be done during an oil change now they still check your air pressure which is stupid because your car monitors that, I would rather they lube my hinges INCLUDING hood hinges.
