i did a bit of reasearch on this right after I bought my truck as its the one thing I wish my truck had.

apparently trucks with sunroofs have completely different roofs and cabs, due to channeling for the water? not 100% sure. but the consensus for it is that aftermarket roofs always leak.

I had an aftermarket one installed April last year. It is a Webasto, generally deemed as the best aftermarket. Installer I used has been around for years, did a perfect job. Zero problems in all regards.

I would have bought it with the truck, but I am 6'9" and the ceiling was hitting my head. The aftermarket version works with the factory non-sunroof headliner so you get the full headroom experience. Also, it is 2-3 inches wider than factory, so you get a bigger panel. The tint is perfect too. I paid $1200 with 3 free services, where they go in to clean out the drainage lines and make sure everything works like new.

I love mine.

Best of luck.

Webasto is a quality product. They make alot of OE sunroofs for GM esp overseas.
