Firestone Coil-Rite/Work-Rite + Leveling Kit
Looking to get the Firestone Coil-Rite & Work-Rite air bags. I have a 2010 Crew cab 4x4 and will be pulling an enclosed snowmobile/atv in-line trailer at 27ft long, 3300 lbs dry, 300-400tw, and max load of 7000lbs. My question is with sag. I am looking at leveling the truck as well, either by the Mopar/Superlift front 2.5 kit or the Daystar 2.5f/2.5r kit. Just trying to figure out if I need the rear spacer kit with the air bags. Not sure if you get any sag while towing with the air bags on a truck? Also I have a fiberglass cap on the truck... figure about 300lbs for that. Not sure if anyone else is running with a leveling kit + air bags for towing.
Thanks

i know that top gun customz specifically says that rear coil spring spacers will work with air bags, as i have air bags and am looking to do a 2 inch lift. i am not big on the "leveled" look and with a trailer like that i would lift front and back the same to allow for some drop without "sagging"
That's not much tongue weight, do you have a WD hitch? I would consider a light setting on a WDH and adjustable shank to get both vehicles parallel to the ground. This set up gets rid of the diving of the ball joint when going over rough or uneven terrain. Try that first.
I have a 2.5" leveling kit, then installed 1.5" spacer from top gun customz. I also have Air lift 1000's. They work great together. I too was wondering the same as you if they would work together. DO NOT GO WITH TALLER SPRINGS. The bags won't work with those. I tow a 9200lbs camper with about 950lb tongue weight...pretty much the limit of these trucks. It sags, but not too bad. If anything I would say it levels it, thats with the 2.5" in front, 1.5" out back. So if kept stock, installed the bags, should be practically no sag at all. My guess would be about 2" of sag with the bags at 30psi with my trailer. Shouldn't be that bad for yours.
The Coil Rite/Work Rite kit is nothing more than the regular Coil Rite airbag kit with a set of hard rubber bump stops and mounting brackets. Seems crazy for them to charge over $200 for this since the bags themselves sell for under $100. After having problems with my Coil Rite bags (blowouts, leaking) Firestone sent me the full Coil Rite/Work Rite kit as a replacement. I had no idea what they were sending me until it arrived. I thought it was a 'heavier duty' kit in terms of having more rugged bags but that didn't turn out to be the case. I don't think I'm going to use it (even the bags). If you want it I'll consider selling it - brand new in box. Make me an offer.
