Default Engine Swap

I am new to this forum thing so please bear with me.
I have a 2010 Ram 1500 4.7l ST
I love the truck dont get me wrong but just out of curiosity i was wandering if it was possible to swap the 4.7l to the 5.7l
i know it cant be just that simple but if someone could enlighten me, such as electronics, if it would match up to the stock tranny so on and so forth. Please i am open to feedback.

The 3rd Gen guys who bought 4.7s and later wanted Hemis will all tell ya', it's cheaper (and a whole lot easier) to take your lumps and trade it on one with a Hemi in it...

As mentioned, just trade it. You will keep your warranty and have less headaches.

But.. If you were to change do a 6.4. If you are going through the pain make it worth it.

Exactly what CarGuy and the others have said. Going from a 4.7 to a 5.7 isn't going to be worth the butt pain and costs. If you're willing to go through the headache, go big with the 6.4 or at least a 6.1. You might have to end up customizing a few parts, but at least it'd be worth it overall.
