Default Mopar Leveling Kit Issues

I have not been on here in a while. Does anyone have any update negative/positive to the Mopar 2" Leveling Kit on '09-Current Ram 1500's? Mine still vibrates/shudders when accelerating, worse on dry pavement. Thanks.

Welcome back. Sorry but I don't have an update to the 2" leveling kit. It's going to vibrate b/c your CV joint angles are no longer correct. This is why I'm contemplating leveling or not. Thinking about waiting and going the full suspension lift... Page 328 of the manual states....

"Driving in the 4WD LOCK and 4WD LOW positions on dry hard surfaced roads may cause increased tire wear and damage to the driveline components."

From my understanding the Mopar lift is made of metal. I am not a big fan of metal spacers since they do not contain any vibration absorption. They also tend to squeak with metal on metal contact. I have a 2.5 inch front lift with a 1 inch rear lift all made of Polyurethane. They seem to help absorb vibrations and slightly improve the ride. (I actually had a service man from the local dealership test drive my truck and he commented on how it seemed to ride smother than stock). Have you re-checked all you your bolts for proper torque? Some lift companies suggest rechecking torque after 500 miles. I hope this helped.

Don't go with metal slavers. They will squeak.
