BT Catch Can Install Question
Hi guys,
Sorry, this is probably a stupid question - I was watching the "Catch Can with Z-bracket" installation video by BT. This is a very simple installation, and even an idiot like me can do it.
BUT, my question - at the very end of the video, right at 2:37 on the video, the cameraman says something like "tell them about installing the EGR Block-off for the 5.7's" - what the hell does this mean??? Is this part applicable for 4th gen Ram's?
Thanks a lot.

BT has a block off plate for the LX/LY platform 5.7 EGR valve. I have this installed on my Charger, with the EGR disabled through my Diablo Tuner as well, or you'll see a CEL once the EGR Valve wiring harness is unplugged. Has nothing to do with the BT catch-can. By the way, check your catch-can at least every three weeks.
It's not a good purchase if you require emissions testing where you reside. To me, it just cleaned up the engine bay a little bit, I've done some custom work within the bay itself.
