Default NEW 2012 Ram owner with exhaust ???

I was looking at the Mufflex exhaust kit for my 2012 Hemi since I already have the dual exhaust...does any other exhaust manufacturers have a muffler "swap out" kit like Mufflex?

I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it. Mufflex is expensive crap that will give you nothing but headaches. Save the money, save the time, and just take it to a local shop and get the same muffler put on right the first time.

Why are they crap? Isn't it a magnaflow muffler and all 100% stainless?

I bought this 1 and love it. All stainless, quality American made connectors and simple install.

B/C people don't know how to use the search button....

Mufflex is crap bc it bolts on and the clips always fall loose...buy the muffler for 1/2 the cost and get it welded on save some pennies!!!!

Bingo Mikey! You'll have constant exhaust leaks and frequent rattles from the hardware vibrating itself loose. Sure, there's ways to fix the problem, but for as much money as the Mufflex costs, you shouldn't have to do any redneck engineering to get it to work.

Oh, and yes it's just a Magnaflow muffler with extra bits welded on to it. It's the same exact muffler you're going to find at any shop, nothing special about it. Hook your local muffler shop up with some business and I'm sure you'll be guaranteed the job gets done the right way the first time.

My truck is a lease which is why i liked the idea of the bolt in muffler. I can just put the stock 1 back in when i turn the truck in.

This kit looks exactly like the Mufflex kit and costs the exact same price...is it made by Mufflex?

So you'll drop the old muffler... Then throw the stock back up... Better hope when you cut your old muffler off you get good cuts otherwise it won't line up and it'll leak... Take it to a shop cut it out weld up the new one then cut out n weld old one.... Less headaches.

Just my. 02 cents... If I had a lease I'd leave it stock
