I am just wondering if the gear symbols light up once it is dark enough and the headlights come on if the symbols(P,R,N,D,ETC) light up on the center console next to the shifter ****. I know that it is on the dashboard i was just curious if those do too.

When your lights headlights are activated, yes, the center console shifter gear selection is lit up.

 

Does it not get dark at night in Michigan...???
I meen really, couldnt you have waited until night time to see if the lights came on...???

Yes, they should light up, mine do. Be sure to move the dash light dimmer forwards/backwards to dim an brighten them.

 

I was thinking the same thing. Turn on headlights, cup hands around indicator and look
