Default 2012 or so RAM question

So,those of you that have bought one, have you looked in the front fender well yet? See the flap there? Is that there for what I think it is? To make changing the bulbs easier than they are in older (Mid 3rd Gen) trucks, including Dakotas?

Just curious as I wonder how hard it would be to retrofit something in mine.

No it is not. The bulbs on these truck are horrible to replace, of the the places where dodge lost it IMO.

Inside that flap is a little plastic lever that you have to pull to allow the headlight to pull out. BUT before you can do that, you have to remove the grill, to gain access to bolts that hold the rest of the headlight in place. Ya....

ive had my grille out so damn many times changing headlight the bolts are now pins
