Will I run into a problem by doing my own service (fluid changes, spark plugs, ect) if I ever need waranty work done with the factory powertrain 5yr 100k?

 

No, but you have to keep a record of what and when it was done. Courts have already ruled, that a hand written log, signed and dated, is legal proof that the work was done. Reciepts would also be handy for what you bought, to back up your log.
