Halos for drl and wiring as such

I ordering new headlamps for the 09 I'm getting projectors with h.i.d and halos with LEDs. I want the halos and LEDs to be on with key switch but turn off if I set park brake. Can I just tie the ground to the parking brake switch to deactivate the relay when the key is on but don't want the lights on?
