P0452 code help
Okay guys just purchased a 2010 dodge ram with 36000 miles on it and got a check engine light on which comes on only below quater tank. if the tank is about quater it never comes on at least not yet
when the light is on and you go to remove the gas cap it has a ton of pressure in the tank. it is saying evaporative emission system pressure sensor switch low input i looked at past service records and it shows this switch being replaced not long ago. is ther somthing else that could be wrong local shop said somthing about a possiblilty of a 1000 dollar gas tank. an ideas would be great thanks
soon as you clear the code it will come back on within the next couple restarts but if it has more then quater tank in it you never get the code. could this be the ( i think its called) the charcoal canister pluged or possibly a bad switch? even though it was just replaced or what about a pcm bad? thanks
also when i just filled it up the pump kicked off and i could see gas sitting level with the gas cap and then it slowly sucked down. but the pump could pump gas into it full blast so i wasn't having problems filling
danny

If someone installed the ESIM (evap) switch wrong it can do that. Make sure the electrical connector on it is situated in the "3 o'clock " position relative to level ground.
