has anyone noticed the winter gas in ontario is producing very bad milage
even my wifes little 1.6l is getting a 100 km less per tankfull

 

Yes I did notice a big difference,
I was getting around 14-16L/100km but since around Christmas
I cant seem to get it under 19L/100km

 

that is why i stopped running premium gas. gas mileage took a dump about the beginning of winter.

 

I am seeing about the same, losing 100-200kms per tank right now. Partly due to the winter blend, partly due to remote start and idle 30 minutes every morning, and 15 minutes before I leave work.

I hate being cold in the morning.

 

30 and 15 minute idle??

No wonder why you have ****ty fuel economy.

 

Well, ya. I said that when I posted. Losing almost 200kms a tank vs summer time.

Plus with the baby, I am always warming the truck up before I put him in it too. I am not complaining, it is what it is. I own a truck, I am used to it.
