Just letting everyone that doesn't know. 5 qts of Mobile 1 plus a free Mobile 1 filter for like $34.95. I bought a couple extra qts. Mobile one is up to $8.99 around here. Yikes. Castrol Synth blend is $6.99 a qt. Stuff is going up, up, up.

 

Maybe just me, but that sounds kinda high in price (???)
The valvoline synthetic i usually buy, is $24 for 5qts here, OEM filter $5 (all @ walmart)
Have you ever had any issues with mobil 1 filters leaking...??? (couple guys here have)

YEAHHHHH i agree, it just keeps going up & up & up. No end in site either...!!!!

 

Yeah it is a bit high, but I live in the middle of nowheresville. No Wal-mart close to me. VIP isn't even close but I was driving by and stopped in as my oil reminder was lit.....Singles of Valvoline and Mobile 1 were $8.99 a qt. Yikes.
Other oils were $6.99 and VIP oil was around $5.00. I usually get the big jug and acouple extras to make the 7qts. Luckily I had a few singles at home. I thought it took 6, but it takes 7.
