Default instrument light.

Does anyone know what number bulb I need for my park, reverse, neutral, drive illumination. I pulled the bulb out and it is blown but I can't get any numbers off it and my dealer wants me to bring it to them. They won't give me the number. It is a 2011 1500 Outdoorsman with the full center counsel.

Trucker,

You may want the dealer to verify your issue and assist in finding the root cause for the illumination failure. Depending on the vehicle's metrage, the vehicle may still be covered under warranty. If you'd like to review your warranty coverage or are seeking additional assistance resolving your concern, feel free to PM me.

Have a dealer verify a burnt out light bulb in a 2 year old truck?

Anyways - did you try just bringing it to the auto parts store and browsing the light bulb aisle?

If you were able to access it to pull it out it should be a common bulb and you could ask the guys at the part store and pull the numbers for you..... just take the burnt bulb with you to compare it with the new one to be safe..... good luck

If you have the bulb out post a good close-up pic of it and maybe someone can help identify it.
