Hey there, I have a 2010 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 crew cab. I have recently put in a superchips vivid chip, which gives it significantly more power and well worth the money, and a magnaflow muffler which sounds very very nice. (Doing both upgrades has given me way better fuel economy)
Question is, when I stomp on it (SC is tuned to Octane 87 performance) it doesn't like to shift out of 2nd gear to well. Just hovers at 6-7k rpm and wont shift up until i let off the accelerator. Note- this didn't happen when I didn't have the chip and doesn't happen in normal acceleration.
So i'm wondering if anyone has this chip or has had this problem and knows how to help.

Sounds like you better be calling superchips on that one...!!!
You keep shiftin it at 6-7K rpm`s, you`re gonna break ****..!!!

 

I have contacted superchips and they are going to get back to me on it.
I dont do it often, only do it when i'm doing 0-60 timings really.
