Well just got a new 2013 SLT Bighorn from Swant Grabber in Barren WI. They offered a sprayed in bedliner for 450.00 and full undercoat for 400.00. I asked salesman what warrenty was and he had a blank look and i,ll have to check into it. Well we got to dealing and and he never did answer that. I believe it wasn't until after we signed the papers he said the sprayed in liner was warranted but not the the undercoat. Oh well so i gets it home after they supposedly did the undercoat,half the truck had no undercoat at all!!! Called them up and they were surprised. They did send a guy over to pick up my Ram and left me with a loaner.They also wanted me to make a list of what needed to be spayed,so i did.I thought that would be obvious. A couple days later they call and said truck is done and wanted me to sign off on my note.They gave me 50.00 for gas,and had a full tank in it. So i get it back home and on the creeper and to my dismay they missed a bunch of spots, and did not do anything inside the rockers. Also they did the truck with spay cans of 3m 08883 undercoat? I thought in wis dealers had to warranty services regards to undercoat? Well live and learn. Don

 

I've never heard of any limited or lifetime warranty with undercoating, with limitations to WI per dealership. Eventually it will peel off, let's face it, salt always prevails with our winters.

I do know Ziebart offered a warranty (years ago) which included a visit to their shop to spot check the undercoating yearly for touch-up. I believe it was only exclusive to the original purchaser though.

 

After talking with the dealership they are going to refund 200.00 of the 400.oo I was okay with that because they did provide a service , just that it was,nt done correctly.

 

There is a reason they are called stealerships.
