Picked up a leather wrapped steering wheel from a '11 ram SRT 8.(heated,radio controls,and DIC buttons) and would like to install it in my '10 ST. i have read the other threads about putting a loaded steering wheel into a ST model but they also include a change over to the premium DIC. i have no intention of putting the fancy instrument panel in my truck if i don't have to. i am perfectly happy with the ST instrument cluster. my ? is...will this be a plug and play deal with the radio controls if i ad the correct radio sales code? (rbk i think, i have it written down somewhere) i realize the heater won't work but can i use the DIC buttons to scroll thru my ODO display? any pitfalls i may be missing? i really just wanted a leather wrap more than anything else but i will take any of the upgrades i can get that will work.any help is appreciated.

was an ebay find. $99.00 + shipping. mint condition. hey ohio, was a super low mile, red that got t boned in the passenger side. pics were enough to make you cry...

o.k. i'll take your word on that. it was advertised as such on ebay. i just know it was red, and was a loaded truck. maybe seller doesn't have a clue? idk...was very sweet looking truck tho. now maybe someone could leave a comment that would actually help me with my question?

 

got the wheel installed and no horn and the up/down-left/right buttons don't do anything nor do the radio controls work. the cruise control works like it always has. will stop by dealer to add rdz sales code to enable the radio controls. does anyone know how to make the horn work? i can live without the evic buttons controlling my odo,milage,temp scrolling but i need a working horn. any ideas?
