Default Adjusting outer door handle?

The outer door handle on the passenger side of my 2010 Crew Cab Laramie is a little bit "loose".
Not in the sense that it is falling of, but when you are going to open the door it doesn't open/click until it is almost all the way out (and this makes passengers pull really hard in the handle...)

How do I adjust this?

Jocce,

Have you contacted a Dodge dealer to see if they are able to do a quick adjustment? They will have the proper tools to complete the repairs as I believe the bolts to tighten may be located behind the interior door panel and difficult to get at on your own.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The problem is that I live in Sweden...these trucks (or any Dodge models...) are not sold here, they are specially imported...so there are only a few shops that have the knowledge of these trucks, and no Dodge dealers...

Start shopping around for a NEW door handle AND the pull rod, thats the only fix for it.

Would like to inspect it first though...and the only way to do it is to go through the inner side of the door?

Yes, you`ll have to remove the door panel to inspect it.

EDIT/ADD: your passengers were likely the problem as to why its loose.
These door handles are not rugged, they do break easy if your passengers are heavy handed.

Jocce,

Well that's a little of a curve ball, but if you are looking to complete the repair yourself a service manual can be purchased at www.techauthority.com.
